My family have been dairy farmers on the Fylde for several generations and I qualified as a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1993 and qualified as a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers in 1999. I joined MB Hodgson & Son in 1996 until July 1999 when I joined JH Walter in Lincolnshire dealing with the sale, purchase and valuation of rural property. I rejoined MB Hodgson & Son in 2005 and have practiced in Cumbria and North Lancashire dealing with valuations and sales of rural property and land. I also provide advice on the Single Payment Scheme, Planning matters and compulsory purchase and compensation schemes.
I am currently Vice President of the Lancashire Agricultural Valuers Association.
