RURAL LAND REGISTRY MAPPING UPDATE

The RPA is updating the Rural Land Register this year.
It means all farmers will receive new maps for their Holding.
The information on these maps will be used for Single Payment Scheme payments in 2010, farm inspections, and to plan for future online access.
Natural England and the Forestry Commission will also use the new mapping information for all land-based schemes, agreements and inspections from 1 January 2010.

You only have 28 days to check the maps and return them.
Any amendments or corrections are to be made on the maps and submitted with the RMU1 form.
