NETWORK RAIL RAILWAY COMMUNICATIONS PROJECT

Network Rail is currently investing £1.7 billion in a new railway communications system which will involve the erection of some 2000 radio masts and base stations across the national network.
Work has already begun in some parts of the country on the early phases of the project, which is expected to roll out nationwide between now and 2011.
If Network Rail approaches you for access over your land contact us to negotiate on your behalf.
Issues likely to be of concern:

• Access payment and compensation
• Timing of access and access routes
• Pre-entry records of condition
• Responsibility for reinstatement
• Future access arrangements for ongoing maintenance
• Valuer’s fees paid by Network Rail
