SDA land - HFA and Entitlement claims
 
The SPS 2008 payment window opened on 1st December and there seems to be an issue with SP5s that included Hill Farm Allowance (HFA) claims.
 
We have been made aware by the CAAV that the inclusion of data in column C12 (HFA section) has had the effect on the RPA's IT system of deleting the SPS claim (column C8 on the SP5) data for that SDA field parcel.
This is resulting in any fields included in both C8 and C12 not receiving the SPS element of the claim in their payment.
 
Those clients with SDA land should carefully check all paperwork relating to 2008 SPS payments.
We are awaiting further information from the RPA about how they will rectify this issue and shall post further information on this website as soon as that is received.
