Established in 1818, MB Hodgson & Son has offered professional property services to landowners and farmers and associated businesses, throughout the North West, for many years.

Following the merger of Kendal & District Auction Mart Plc and Lancaster Farmers Auction Mart Ltd in 2005, to form The L&K Group Plc, the land agency offices of MB Hodgson & Son and Lancaster Estates and Properties also merged under the MB Hodgson & Son name, and become part of the newly-formed Group which includes Kendal and Lancaster Auction Marts which trade as North West Auctions.

Our highly-experienced team is made up of two Chartered Surveyors based in Kendal and one in Lancaster. We have extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of rural, commercial and residential property and business issues and our small team ensures that our service delivery to clients is prompt and efficient. We have excellent working relationships with other professionals such as solicitors, accountants and architects in the region and our business continues to grow, through reputation and recommendation.
